Dieser Tag beschreibt einen Ort an dem Sanitärabfälle die in Tanks gesammelt wurden entsorgt werden können. Diese Infrastruktur wird haupsächlich auf Booten und Campingfahrzeugen benötigt.
Diese Orte haben veschiedene Namen dump station, dump point, caravan dump station, sanitary station, Elsan disposal point (UK), pumpout, and chemical disposal point (CDP). Es scheint überall so zu sein, dass für menschliche Ausscheidungen viele Euphemismen benutzt werden. Dieser Tag beschreibt eine ordnungsgemäße Entsorgungsstelle von menschlichen Abfällen, und sollte nicht verwendet werden, um Waschbecken, Recycling-Behälter, Toiletten, Flüsse, oder eine nicht dafür geeigneten Stelle zum Entleeren des Inhalts eines Fäkalientanks zu markieren.
Er soll aber nicht für einzelne Anschlüsse an zugewiesenen Stellplätzen verwendet werden.
