Gulf of Mexico Pipeline Import is an import of an Buerau of Ocean Energy Managment dataset which contains ~38,000 miles of pipelines in the Gulf of Mexico. The import is currently at the planning stage.

All ways will be tagged with location=underwater, layer=-1 and seamark:type=pipeline_submarine.
The data will be simplified at 1m accuracy to remove excessive nodes.

Conflation

There are some existing pipelines (however exclusively mapped by myself), they will be deleted & replaced. Continiation of the pipelines on land will be mapped manually.
