Introduction
Using OpenStreetMap as a common data repository for camp mapping offers many advantages.
Using OSM, humanitarian actors will benefit from already available tools and low tech technology. OSM will facilitate the dissemination of information. OSM will also allow for the decentralization of data updates as actors and agencies won't require technical experts to verify and maintain their own information.
