Mrubli is a Swiss guy who came to Taiwan for three months and refused to leave. He does most of his mapping with the help of his leg muscles and his trusted Garmin Dakota 20. Always by his side is his understanding girlfriend who doesn't mind if he wanders around in erratic patterns and excuses himself to run up a trail branch "for the GPS log".

Biking and hiking he's been up and down Hsinchu County but he's now branching out to neighboring counties to find new and interesting biking routes and hiking trails. He occasionally hikes in Taipei and he jumps at the rare opportunities to climb 百岳.

His dream is for OpenStreetMap to be as consistent as its non-free competitors, yet more accurate and up-to-date.
