I first discovered OpenStreetMap back in December 2005, and uploaded a few GPS traces (http://www.openstreetmap.org/traces/user/RichardL) but then somehow forgot about it. After 11 months away, it's great to come back and see so much more detail than there was - and maps that look like maps! I was surprised to find so much detail in places near to me (such as Farndon and Tilston in Cheshire).

Welcome back then Richard. Suggest you crawl the mailing list for Chris Morley's email address. He has done all of Chester so there is a good chance he has covered some of the areas you are interested in. Blackadder 18:57, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm glad you are mapping again. "Complete" mapping of West Cheshire looks an achievable goal. I'm plodding round Ellesmere Port at the moment but would like to come south again with my folding bike on the 41 bus at a later stage, and do some more around Malpas, perhaps.
