Greetings.

I live in Warsaw, Poland. I've been interested in amateur cartography since June 2007. Now I can fully understand what people study at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at the Warsaw University of Technilogy, for five years ;-)

Equipment

Garmin eTrex Venture CX. IMHO the best entry level outdor receiver. It has colour screen and microSD slot, supports maps and has a standard mini-B USB socket (no more $60 cabels). The receiver is not very sensitive so you may loose the signal sometimes under trees or beetween high buildings, however, it doesn't happen too often for me.

GIANT CROSS K3. The best bike if you mostly ride in the city. However, I go sometimes for a trip in the country side and it behaves quite good there to.
