My name is Peter and, with just a few months experience, would definitely consider myself as a newby.

I am based in Surrey, U.K. and I'm attempting to do something to fill a gap in the map in the area near where I live. I'm also trying to add some of the footpaths in "less-well-mapped" areas of southern England and I'm finding that (say) 6 hours walking equates to 6 hours editing and the latter is rather more tiring.

Problems so far: I'm finding tags difficult to understand, it takes too long to see the results of my work, and someone keeps changing my entries!
