I am a GIS specialist working for the USNPS with 10 years of GIS,mapping, and geodatabase experience.

I'm currently working on updating the GRSM GIS data, currently pending park review for accuracy. The plan is to perform a bulk upload via section of the park at a time. Significant challenges include keeping consistency with USGS GNIS features, where most of our changes are (location). In addition, we are slowly gearing up a crowd-sourcing project which will capitalize on the OSM community to help the park collect new data.
