Hi Nick. Welcome to openstreetmap.org!

I did a bit of mapping near Aldgate tube at lunchtime today. Lots more to do in the East End, and even in central areas up to Liverpool Street. Just now I was tidying up a few areas around Whitechapel, by tracing over the Yahoo! Aerial Imagery. This involves just using the Java Applet to arrange segments without creating any ways (since we don't know the street names until we go there) There seems to be a few 'null' ways kicking around in the maps there. I think most of the time these are pointless. We can just delete them.
