just read your comments and feature plan. sounds nice. i have also though about a new version more coherent to gmaps static map v2 and yes: multiple get parameters with the same name are not accessible through $_GET. but staticmaplite is a simple approach to static maps. it will never be as complete as static maps from google.
so which way to go? currently my spare time is very limited. do you want to contribute to the code? via sourceforge? do you want to deploy your code to http://staticmap.openstreetmap.de? make a new version?

i also found a newer version with address lookup and auto center,
maybe is a start for a more v2 like thing.

It looks like your contribution is missing a source as a cite ref, would you be able to supply it, please? We can only keep information in that table that is backed by a reference, best to an actual legislation text

- OK, thanks! I will (anyway) also re-check and update (references of) all the countries whose ISO code letter start with a C today so maybe I can add a reference to the article too. You also edited not for Czech Republic but for Bulgaria - transliterated the refs to latin alphabet. I had to undo that because the source referenced is in Cryllic alphabet and it is important that the source referenced is neither translated not transliterated to another script because in case the original URL for the source is not reachable anymore (happens all the time on the internet), one can just copy&paste (into google) the text referenced to find a newer source for it. In case you find the road traffic legislation for Bulgaria in Latin alphabet and it is important to you, feel free to use that source, then you can also have the references in latin alphabet. Alternatively, you could add the latin transliteration in the same cite ref below the cryllic one.
