Re: The Future of Areas/Rasters. Are you seriously proposing to add raster data to the current vector/topological OSM database and to move descriptions of areas from the vector part into raster? If you do please describe this in more detail on the page, including such things as editor support etc. For the time being I have removed the link to your page from the The Future of Areas page (but not your page), because I think it confuses the issue more than it helps.
