OSM for the blind

Hello Jamie,

I heard you were involved in connecting OSM to Loadstone. I am interested in making OSM available for the blind and visually impaired people and therefore have started the categories "handicap" and "visual impairment", to collect tags that contain relevant information. I have also started to try out additional tags, e.g. tactile_paving=yes/no/irritating.

Currently I am working on HaptoRender, a tool to produce tactile maps from OSM data.

It would be nice if you would like to contribute.
