Nominatim maintenance

Media:Example.ogg Hello, I am new to nominatim but not that new to being a user of map software such as google and navteq. I am working on a new startup which needs map data. I was wondering if nominatim is still actively being maintained or has it been dropped or otherwise slowed down in favor of another technology. Who should I talk to if I would like to request/fund a new feature or change? If we make a change to data or software on our side, how can we contribute back to nominatim? It will be nice if you could and would reply to this.
