WikiProject Belgium/Using AGIV Crab data/LARA
Viewing Flemish address data in detail
The Flemish government provides an interface to view all the addresses in Adressenregister (formerly known as CRAB) in great detail via LARA, available at https://lara.vlaanderen.be The interface is available without an account. If you also want to be able to use it to report errors and follow up on them, you need an account. To do so, the official OpenStreetMap Belgium organization needs to give you the right to do so. Please send your request to board@osm.be, which needs to include your phone, email address and national registry number. Legal representatives of OSM.be will then be able to add you as a "rightsholder" via https://gebruikersbeheer.vlaanderen.be (just adding as a person with a relation to this org is enough, no specific rights are needed)
Feature requests
After a few months of use, we will send a few feature requests to the Lara development team. Feel free to add bullet points below (in EN or NL).
- when you log in, the map is reset to Flanders. Try to preserve map view before login
- you need to click exactly in the middle of an address to select it. Expand the buffer around the address coordinates to be able to select it
- if there are status updates, send them by mail
- make it possible to start a Melding based on a selected object. This would also make it possible to link the Melding automatically to the Beheerder
Suggestions above sent to Digitaal Vlaanderen 23/04/2024.
