The Coghill Estate map is a map of the townlands of Kyleroe, Ballyfoyle and Cramersgrove commissioned by the landowner John Coghill in 1816. Two copies held in the library of Kilkenny Archaeological Society contain names of townlands, subtownlands, fields, landowners, tenants and information about landuse (areable and pasture) and acreage. Since John Coghill was of British descend, he had most of the fieldnames translated into English. However, some of the Irish ones still survive to this day (2020).
