The purpose of this page is to have a list of coordinates of relevant places related to this topic to accurately maintain them in OSM.

An important principle is to maintain a balance about the need of sources to not have too much false positives but most importantly not being too strict about that. Since it's hard to verify on the ground and that the official existence or nature of a facility can be wrong for political reasons.

False positives and closed camps

Like regular prisons or facilities that are not related at all. It's to ensure that they aren't added back to OSM without being sure of their current operation.

Since the existence of the camps has been denied initially and now it's causing bad press, we should need a strong enough evidence to confirm their closure or different nature. Not just an official statement.
