March 23, 2023 regular meeting of the OpenStreetMap United States Board of Directors

Call to Order

Minh called the meeting to order at 1pm, Eastern Daylight Time, via video conference.

• Jess Beutler (Program Director)
• Nellie Blair (Philanthropy & Engagement Coordinator)

Reports

• The Executive Director (ED) provided an update to the board on OSM US’s activities over the prior month.
  • Membership drive starting now until SotM US.
  • The new website will include an anonymized map showing where our members are from across the US.

New Business

• The board approved the following positions:
  • President: Diane Fritz
  • Vice President: Brian Sperlongano
  • Secretary: Matt Whilden
  • Treasurer: Adam Franco
  • Member at Large: Priyanka Miller
• Staff introductions
• State of the map planning in on track
• Jess has a presentation on programs Programs & Projects
