Agenda

Mapathon / Event Management How-To
Ralph mentioned that it is currently on hold due to the redesign of the Tasking Manager. Blake explained the timeline for these developments, that a development server would be setup within a couple of weeks and that the general idea is to push some of the new developments to TM 2 in order to get early feedback on them. There will be some points which require an update on the documentation but mainly TM 3 should work like TM 2, a notable exception being the validation process. Ralph will now finish the current document.
It was generally agreed that a set of default instructions should be provided. Blake produced a suggestion for such a set
LearnOSM TM Admin Module
Michael finished the first version including latest suggestions by Blake - it is now online on the main learnOSM site. Michael will send a message to the HOT mailing list making this known to a wider audience hoping to gain more feedback.
HOT Training Centre
Russell said that this is currently stalled.
Other Business
Laura received feedback from Russell on her suggestion for an annual summary of this working group's activities and will send an updated version of her document to Nick who as the chair will formally send it to the mailing list.
Nick pointed at a github issue where he would like to have a list of multi-lingual short documents at hand which validators can use if they spot one of those errors which new mappers frequently produce. He put up some examples on the learnOSM staging site. The big advantage of using learnOSM as a repository would be that users can easily switch to their preferred language if they receive such a link. Nick asks for further input, in particular animated gifs.
