Minutes of meeting of the Training Working Group of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team

Meeting commenced at 1900hrs Monday 17th July 2017 using the Mumble server, but IRC monitored.

learnOSM

Nick reported that he made a lot of achievements in the automation of the translation management with Transifex. Any new contents from Transifex can now be transferred to the staging site using batch scripts and will thus be available for review by translators at most one day later. He also added and updated some guidelines for translators, e.g. how to create localized images.

TM3 development

Now that the development is finished Blake will turn to update the documentation. Michael reported that Blake mentioned this to him by e-mail and Michael will convert any updated gitbooks contents to learnOSM and transfer it to the staging site.

Other Business

Nick suggested to create a troubleshooting guide for mapathons with topics ranging from better not using Internet Explorer to all sorts of WiFi trouble.
