Minutes of meeting of the Training Working Group of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team

Meeting commenced at 18:00 UTC Monday 30th April 2018 using the Mumble server, but IRC monitored.

JOSM Webinar

The agenda has been filled with greater detail and we agreed on timings for the individual parts. Blake considered it indispensable to mention misaligned imagery but will confine to adjusting the imagery to existing mapping. The current agenda will result in a 60 minute presentation and a 30 minute practice part. The presenters will be Blake and Michael, Russell will be the host and Ralph will stand by to answer questions which arise on the chat.

Blake and Ralph put together a list of frequently used keyboard shortcuts, Blake will clarify whether they are different on a Mac. The official list from the JOSM documentation as well as a [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:JOSM_Keyboard_Shortcuts.png cheat sheet may be consulted for further input.

Russell set Eventbrite up and reserved HOT's Zoom room for May 21st, 14:00-15:30 UTC. He will also coordinate any marketing activities with the Communications WG.

Blake will take care of a suitable project on the Tasking Manager.

Our meeting the week before (May 14th, 18:00 UTC) will be used for testing the equipment. We will use Zoom and figure out if things like screen sharing work for everyone.
