Philippines/MapaTime!
A regular outreach activity organized by the MapAm❤re Initiative with various advocates from the local open mapping and open data community from the Philippines, and held on the last Saturday of each month.
Beginning October of 2018, the Philippines/PRCVCAD Project is sponsoring the venue at Co.Lab Xchange in Pasig. This activity was previously known as "MapTime Manila", and held every last Thursday of the month in the San Juan campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Format
The activity is divided into three separate sessions. Participants in the morning sessions are expected to attend the Lightning Talks, but not required to. After mapathon participants are invited to come early, to attend the Lightning Talks, before proceeding with the afternoon mapathon proper.

Online
In March of 2020, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, an online format was launched to continue the same goals as the regular MapaTime! off-line events: community building, practical skill sharing, feature local initiatives based on OpenStreetMap or FOSS4G.
WeMap
A contraction of "Wednesdays MapaTime!", WeMap is a weekly online activity hosted by the OpenStreetMap communities in the Philippines that focus on session-specific themes, or feature local initiatives based in OpenStreetMap, or FOSS4G.
Initial sessions focused on beginner-friendly projects, and planned future sessions include intermediated to advanced techniques for contributing to OSM, usage of other tools available in the OpenStreetMap ecosystem, and more technical sessions in geospatial data, GIS, and other map-py aspects of open mapping.
The online sessions are hosted on Jitsi, and digital video recordings are streamed to the channel on Pista ng Mapa YouTube channel for posterity and future re-use.
Know Your Contributor
A short segment of the WeMap sessions that features OpenStreetMap contributors who agree to be interviewed, and allow the rest of the community to know them better. This is often referred to in the contracted form "KYC."
