Pets for sale?

Does animal_breeding of pets also mean that you can buy pets there? or does one have to add shop=pet? Another question, Is it correct to assume that breeding is done with the primary intention to get more animals to sell, that would mean that keeping of animals for the purpose of producing say milk or eggs is a different thing? Due to the versatility of the tag, we can't assume that all animal breedings sell pets. So if an animal breeding directly sells pets you should add also shop=pet.

Second question: according to the schema, if the primary "output" of the facility are animals (= to breed animals to sell them), you use the full tag amenity=animal_breeding and animal_breeding=animal;animal;....

Otherwise if the primary intention is another one, you should tag the facility with its own tag (e.g. landuse=farmyard or a more appropriate tag) and then yuo can add also animal_breeding=animal;animal;... to specify that animals are also bred there. In this case the primary tag amenity=animal_breeding must not be used. --Viking81 (talk) 09:42, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
