- I approve this feature, it seems to me that it could fill a gap in OpenStreetMap. I often end up frustrated that I cannot indicate the spoken language of some POIs. It can be very useful in touristic areas. What are the next steps to integrate this feature in OSM? --Amadeous 10:07, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- I also would vote for this feature as it stands now. Arlo James Barnes (talk) 22:47, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- I also think that it would be a great idea--Jolesh (talk) 08:44, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
- I also liked, especially the very useful language:guides:iso --Atarom (talk) 19:11, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
Is this still active?
I think about the same idea, but I would simplify the tagging much more. Do you still work on this? -- BlueG (talk) 15:17, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- Of course, simplifications may be possible and useful; you can suggest some, the discussion is open. I am not experienced at all in developing the tagging conventions, and it seems to me that adopting some tagging standard would require some broader interest / support. But I do not know how to proceed.--Hlv (talk) 10:46, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
