5.2 Route by route guidelines
5.2.3 Trunk highways
This section lists all of the agreed trunk highway changes. These were agreed during discussions blah blah blah. This list does not list existing trunk highways as of the end of 2021, but rather lists highways that have been agreed should be trunk highways. This list is not exhaustive, as other possible trunk highway additions are under discussion. Each line represents a particular "route" that is described in the Trunk highway proposal. The current Status values are: agreed and completed. The first means that a proposal was put forward and discussed and the consensus was that this "Segment" should be converted to highway=trunk. A status of completed means that the work has been completed to ensure that the segment is now correctly mapped in OSM.
