information sign

Not to be confused with entrance=* which is about the entrance to buildings and enclosed areas. Usage may overlap if the entrance of an enclosed area (surrounded by a barrier) lacks a barrier=gate or related barrier but usage of this tag on non-barriers such as buildings is typically seen as an error.
As always, automated edits are discouraged unless you know what you're doing.

The tag barrier=entrance defines an opening (a gap or hole) in a linear barrier=*. There is nothing to limit a passage through the barrier at this place, so access=yes is assumed. For entrances that are secured by a door, gate, or other means, use barrier=gate instead, even if it is never locked. If access on an entrance is restricted, add access tags.
