Member questions for board nominees

Given the limited time you will serve in the Board, how will you help re-build or re-connect relationships between staff, Voting members, and volunteers in the humanitarian OSM team organization?

A non-profit board member's primary duty is governance and oversight. I certainly would like to find out more about the relationships between staff, Voting member and volunteers. I would hope staff in the community focused roles in the organization would have recommendations on how to move forward on this which also are informed by the Voting members and volunteers. That said I'm not sure this would be my major focus during a 6 month term compared to other priorities. My number one focus would be focused on governance and oversight.
