The D7 sign identifiers are very hard to track down. I found a mention of them in this document from California: https://dot.ca.gov/-/media/dot-media/programs/safety-programs/documents/signs/f0018702-2010crossref-guide-ca.pdf and on https://www.trafficsigns.com/guide-signs/national-park-signs which quotes and links to a section of the MUTCD that ... doesn't mention that identifier (anymore?).
