osmChange support
I'd be nice (but very hard to program, I guess) to support osc format to update OSM tiles with planet diffs. But from that we would get a framework to maintain a tileset of a part of the world with no extra effort! --Zverik 17:22, 23 September 2011 (BST)
- I'd say it's hard to program if it is supposed to work performantly :) Suppose the change file contains a new way, but not all of the referenced nodes (some of them might be unchanged). Then try to find the tiles the nodes are in! It could work with index files, though. Added it to the todo. --Ant 18:05, 23 September 2011 (BST)
OSMT as osmosis plugin
Did you consider making OSMT an osmosis plugin? Since it's written in java, that should not be much trouble. Doing so will rid you of some redundant work, like supporting pbf and databases. (upd: I just saw this thought in your talk@ message, so it's just a recommendation, then :) --Zverik 11:01, 27 September 2011 (BST)
