Extract from STDIN

This page says it can read from STDIN and gives a shell snippet, which of course doesn't work because according to the script "Input file name must be given on command line - reading from stdin not supported."

Date-Parse

Date::Parse doesn't seem to be available on windows (activeperl with PPM)

Suggestion

This page about Perl scripts is already quite large and will get bigger. In the interest of good readability, I would like to have the pages for different script languages separate but put some cross links on them.
