Just in case someone wonders what 3d printing got in common with robots : might be done by a coordinated swarm of them https://youtu.be/pDKNEO0gDuE Rtfm (talk) 21:37, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
When to create a proposal
Two things,
1. There's a difference between "creating a proposal" and a tag being "proposed" or "in use." In this case, it's "proposed" because it isn't "in use." Not because there's an actual proposal for it or necessarily needs one. A tag can have a "proposed" status without there being an exiting proposal for it though, obviously.
2. One of the criteria that article gives for when to create a proposal is if "Your feature is of general interest." Are you really going to argue that the tag isn't of general interest? --Adamant1 (talk) 01:31, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
What qualifies as a "robot" ?
(There is no consensus on which machines qualify as robots). IMHO :
Not autonomous
- remote controlled vehicles > aerospace:product=rover, vehicle:type=remote_controlled ?
- remote controlled mechanical arms > aerospace:product=robot, healthcare:product=robot, robot:type=remote_controlled ?
A robot
- machines which move and act autonomous
- industrial robot
- automatic vacuum cleaner, lawn mover and similar
Not a robot
- washing_machine=* and similar
