Ruined city walls?
This page claims that "existing city walls that are ruined, maybe with only foundations remaining may no longer qualify as barrier=city_wall but are still historic=citywalls." Is this really consistent with existing practice? I haven't noticed any significant difference in use of the two tags. --Jeisenbe (talk) 22:37, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Nein, es stimmt nicht mit der gängigen Praxis überein, sondern wird je nach Vorliebe genutzt. Es ist der Versuch, zwei key/value die dasselbe Ausdrücken noch zu Unterscheiden. No, it does not correspond to current practice, but is used according to preference. It is an attempt to distinguish between two key/value expressions that are the same.--Lutz (talk) 09:07, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Mateusz Konieczny: it appears you added this text. --Jeisenbe (talk) 00:50, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- I do not remember it right now, but if you have checked and it does not match actual use at all then it should be removed. "I haven't noticed any significant difference in use of the two tags" - have you checked some locations where the difference would matter (places where only remains not qualifying as wall remained)?
