wood=deciduous does not imply leaf_type=broadleaved; it actually implies leaf_cycle=deciduous. In temperate parts of Europe there's a strong correlation with broadleaved, but even here there are exceptions. --SomeoneElse (talk) 20:54, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

The wood=* tag is very general, and should not imply leaf_type=*/leaf_cycle=* if any sort. With the added information from leaf_type/leaf_cycle, wood should be considered an renderer or data consumer aid. --Skippern (talk) 10:33, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
