Talk:Upload Waypoints
This would be interesting to implement in BT747. To separate the characters in your output, I'ld suggest using tracksegments. Further, the generated gpx file is not really valid 'as is' because it is lacking a header. BT747 is java and runs on many platforms. the "sugestions" worked perfectly!
after traveling (and waypoint marking), I decided to try it out, 2 hours after arriving from a trip. The device that I'm using is a NaviGPS model (a GT-31, to specify the brand name). I followed the same suggestions written in the article, and it worked perfectly. Can't wait for the next trip. -Ianlopez1115 12:05, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Time to rethink this?
This has the feel of a hack used as a temporary way to work around a design flaw. Maybe it's time to incorporate waypoint-only GPX files into the design? —Larry Gilbert 20:25, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
Not obsolete
I've no idea why someone added "These instructions are quite obsolete". They're not - there are help questions asking exactly how to do this regularly. SomeoneElse (talk) 10:01, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was that someone. I noted why they are "quite" obsolete - however, yeah, better without this notice. It may be understood in a wrong way. And: this page is titled "upload waypoints", so apparently someone is looking for this. By the way, I made some changes to this page today (because you've linked it on help.osm.org) before noticing in my watchlist that you commented here. --Aseerel4c26 (talk) 12:52, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
