Limit the categories for untranslated pages
Should not we limit the categories created for untranslated pages only to those containing Key:, Tag:, relation and feature descriptions. I do not know if it is possible but then the categories would be more useful. The vast number of the pages there will not be ever translated. Chrabros (talk) 02:15, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
- But most pages on this wiki are already Tag:/Key: pages, and this is the core of this documentation wiki (beside pages for places, which are not required to include a Languages bar in most countries, and most often don't use this bar).
- But now there are many pages related to generic features, policies, training, softwares, that would benefit of translations.
- But apparently you're just concerned by implementing a filter only for Czech. It is possible to do that but this has some cost (I think it is very low, there are builtin parser functions that can be used to detect substrings in page names (without the language prefix) starting by "Tag:" or "Key:" (such code is already used in {{Langcode}} to avoid interpreting these substrings as language codes).
- But I don't think this filter will be liked for other people inteterested in seeing missing pages in English (for all topics) or Japanese (or Spanish and Italian recently requested again). — Verdy_p (talk) 03:10, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
