Nominations

Put your username as a heading to nominate yourself (maybe a manifesto if you want). Vote for people by signing your name with ~~~~ under anyone you trust to do the job.

rjmunro

I vote for Jamie because he has already thought a lot about how to optimize/distribute/whatever tiles@home and having access to the server will enable him to better judge which of these ideas actually help, and implement them ;-) --Frederik Ramm 23:18, 23 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for rjmunro because he seems to put a lot of thought into how infrastructure/architecture should be, rather than working on a put fire out as they occur-base. --spaetz 09:22, 27 May 2007 (BST)
I finally want to see more than one person take care of this wonderful project! RalfZ 22:42, 18 June 2007 (BST)

Dutch

I vote for Dutch because he's been doing a lot of work on the client and also has a render farm, so he must know what he's doing. --Frederik Ramm 23:18, 23 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for Dutch who is active on IRC (easily reachable) and seems to know what he talks about. --spaetz 09:22, 27 May 2007 (BST)

Deelkar

Available at "odd" times to pull the emergency brake should something go wrong (disable uploads, stop the queue, that sort of administrative stuff).

I vote for Deelkar because I know that he has built a queueing render farm for himself which works well; his patches for the client all made sense to me; and he responds to emails in a timely manner ;-) Frederik Ramm 23:18, 23 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for Deelkar because i trust him to do the job well. --spaetz 09:22, 27 May 2007 (BST)

PerroVerd

Not a osm specialist but good skills in heavy loaded servers

I vote for PerroVerd because our server is heavily loaded so any knowledge here will be helpful. --Frederik Ramm 23:18, 23 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for PerroVerd who seems to be quite knowledgeable with MySQL and who active on IRC so easy to reach. --spaetz 09:22, 27 May 2007 (BST)

Frederik Ramm

My main objective would be to make the server reliable again. Ideally through optimisation, or distribution, or bugging the powers that be for hardware upgrades, but if the server is on the edge I'd not hesitate to diasable features to maintain availability.

I vote for myself because if I wouldn't trust myself to do the job I wouldn't stand ;-) --Frederik Ramm 23:18, 23 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for Frederik because he tried to prevent global warming, but no one helped him -- Nic 12:47, 24 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for Frederik because he has a deep knowledge from the client down to the server. --Cdaller 13:07, 24 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for Frederik because he is able to do the job, is motivated to do it, and is a fast and good coder (or has entirely too much time on his hands ;-)) --Deelkar (talk) 17:34, 24 May 2007 (BST)
I vote for Frederik because i trust him to do the job well, he invests insame amounts of time and energy and generally responds quickly. --spaetz 09:22, 27 May 2007 (BST)

Jeroen Dekkers

Because Tiles@home is a very important part of the OSM infrastructure, it's important that it's reliable. I'd would like to help make that possible and fix things when they break.

sxpert

I believe I could help in making the thing much faster than it currently is, by applying advanced techniques, notably in the database segment.

I vote for myself, obviously ( Sxpert 08:25, 19 June 2007 (BST) )

Technical

Tiles@home/Admins/Technical - how is the changeover going to be achieved, that will let everyone edit files?
