I started out before I got GPS by adding some street names as well as slight tidying of map in my area in North Edinburgh, using flash potlatch editor. After getting at GT-31 GPS unit, I started adding more roads and paths using JOSM, including near where I live but also on trips further a field.

At one point I was interested in BS7666 and suggested compatible tagging in this format into OSM, wishing to see it supported in tools, parsing to fit standard which structure addresses.
