A Garmin eTrex Legend, original. It works for me. I tend to do my mapping by bike.

Projects

Since I'm stuck out in the boonies at the moment...I'm mapping out the boonies. I've done Russell and Birtle, in Manitoba, and Spy Hill in Saskatchewan. I'll keep improving Russell, since that's easiest. Also planning: Binscarth, Foxwarren, St. Lazare. At some point, it'd be nice to do at least the major roads in Brandon.

Next year, I'll pitch in to help with Vancouver.
