tiles@home fonts

Are you the same Semper who is running tiles@home? If so, then it appears that you don't have the proper fonts installed, giving "funky" results on some tiles... --Eimai 14:27, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes, that's me. Can you give me an example? Last time I looked at the tiles rendered by me it looked OK. But I'll stop rendering until I'm sure it works (again). Thanks for the notification. -- Semper 00:08, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

The tile that was giving awkward results was Brussels, but it got rerendered again in the mean time (the city name is spread over several tiles, so if one has the wrong font you get a strange result). The problem seemed to be that it was using the non-bold version of the font, so it should be easily detectable if the problem is still there. --Eimai 12:53, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
