West Java is a province in Indonesia at latitude 6°49′22.80″ South, longitude 107°38′20.40″ East.
Infrastructure
- Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Elevated Road Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Elevated Road : The longest elevated road (36.42 km) and the first double-decker motorway in Indonesia. Construction began in early 2017, and it was inaugurated on December 12, 2019. This elevated road is built above the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. The purpose is to separate short-distance movements (Jakarta - Bekasi - Cikarang; existing lane) from long-distance movements (Cirebon - Bandung - Semarang - Surabaya; elevated lane), specifically for non-bus vehicles of category I. Previously named "Jakarta - Cikampek Elevated Toll Road," it is now named "Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Elevated Road" to commemorate the diplomatic relationship between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. To honor this relationship, the United Arab Emirates government has also named a road near the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center as President Joko Widodo Street President Joko Widodo Street (شارع الرئيس جوكو ويدودو). [1] The construction of the Jakarta - Cikampek Elevated Toll Road was carried out by PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk together with PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (Joint Operation). The operation is managed by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC), a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, with an investment value of IDR 16.2 trillion.
