Westerlo is a city in Belgium at latitude 51°06′05.40″ North, longitude 4°55′18.84″ East.
Westerlo
Westerlo is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises seven towns:
- Westerlo proper (population 3,831)
- Oevel (population 3,454)
- Tongerlo (population 4,679)
- Heultje (population 3,973)
- Voortkapel (population 2,408)
- Oosterwijk (population 2,350)
- Zoerle-Parwijs (population 2,202)
On January 1, 2006 Westerlo had a total population of 22,896. The total area is 55.13 km² which gives a population density of 415 inhabitants per km².

Mapping
Mapping work is being done in the neighbouring Geel, Olen and Herentals. Mapping in Westerlo is still very limited. Some main roads have been mapped, but entire towns are lacking.
I've started some initial mapping in 2008-08-21 by going through Oevel and Tongerlo, and by connecting the towns with Westerlo (--Bartth 12:06, 28 August 2008 (UTC)) Feel free to contact me for a mapping party or some kind of working together!
