Top 10 Proposal Verdict
After Facilitating Team received the video description from top 10 proposal, now we must select top 7 communities as the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- YouthMappers UGM
- Some FT's think it's a very unique proposal and it might be implemented in other cities in Indonesia as well. This proposal has a clear output and already has a potential partners to be collaborate with.
- The main challenges is there's only one programmer for this big project. Some FT's also think it is a very common project.
- After voting, FT's decided to select YouthMappers UGM as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Wana Karya Lestari
- Most of FT's think this is a great proposal with a positive impact for people around the area. The existence of two expert OSM Mappers also give a huge benefit for this team.
- Addition from one of our FT members, it would be best if we put AP Hub and POI logo on the output product so it will help us to increase the awareness for this activity.
- After voting, FT's decided to select Wana Karya Lestari as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- SSK Mapping Club
- Most of FT's think that this is not a very solid proposal since they don't have good relationship with external partners. The data mentioned in the proposal is also still very general.
- After voting, FT's decided to not select SSK Mapping Club as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Barakati Indonesia
- All FT's agree that this proposal has a solid purpose and goals to conduct a mapping in the outer island in Indonesia.
- After voting, FT's decided to select Barakati Indonesia as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Komunitas TERAS
- This group has a strong value because they involve women farmers in their activity
- They also want to utilize map as a one of key element when creating a policy design for the government
- After voting, FT's decided to select Komunitas TERAS as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Niskala Institute
- Strong proposal with great ideas to map cultural heritage in specific area in Indonesia
- This thematic mapping could attract new mappers to learn and join OSM
- After voting, FT's decided to select Niskala Institute as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Squad Paraduta Jambi
- FT's think that this proposal has a very niche and segmented audience.
- It's also doesn't explore on how they can utilize OSM data on their activity
- After voting, FT's decided to not select Squad Paraduta Jambi as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Spatial Data Science
- It's a very interesting proposal. This group wants to create and analyze on how fast is the emergency response time for ambulance in Jakarta.
- After voting, FT's decided to select Spatial Data Science as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Maluku Peduli
- One of representative from East Region of Indonesia.
- This team has an interesting part from the proposal that they aim to involve women and more communities from east region of Indonesia, where POI doesn't have much representative from it.
- After voting, FT's decided to select Maluku Peduli as one of the grantees for Booster Grant 2022.
- Hero Mapping (disqualified due to the late response)
