Construction sites which stand still

What about construction sites that are not finished, but are not active either? Some infamous sites in my city are the City of Sports by catelan architect Santiago Calatrava, construction was active from 2007 to 2010 or 11. [1] or the Città dei Giovani, project by Rem Koolhaas and Arup engineers, from 2004, currently inactive for many years. There are a lot more of such projects that never have been finished, but these are some high profile projects which sooner or later will continue in some way or the other, because the sites are too big and at strategic positions to not be used, so some incompleted constructions will remain ruins, and others might continue, maybe after years or even decades. --Dieterdreist (talk) 22:24, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
