redundancy of tag

There seems to be 514 uses of amenity=workshop, of which 93 are tagged with the normal opening_hours tag. I suggest we go with that since it's already established compared to that and can encourage mapping workshops as separate objects. Instead of just adding a bunch of namespaces to things with the word "workshop" in them. Which would treat workshops like they are a an attribute of an object and not a separate geographical feature that can be mapped on its own using established tags. There's also the approved social_facility=workshop. So, it's not really clear what particular instances this tag would be better then mapping the workshop as a separate object with the regular opening hours tag. Especially considering there are already established tags for mapping workshops as their own objects. --Adamant1 (talk) 11:58, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

Article move

This article should be moved to either RTFM's user space or an actual proposal. Otherwise, the article should be deleted. As a proposal shouldn't take up the main article space and should have an actual proposal article attached to it anyway.
