I have created this page to explain my usage of guidepost=simple. I know of the new page : guidepost=* But I'm still not satisfied with the proposed way of tagging, so, until better, I'll keep on tagging it the simple way. sletuffe (talk) 14:05, 12 November 2016 (UTC)

Deprecation?

What does this tag express? That the guidpost is just a simple one? This could be a missunderstanding with the meaning of {{key|guidepost]].

taginfo: guidepost=bicycle used 6972 times, guidepost=hiking used 2648 times

As I understand guidepost=* is made for the main usage of the guidepost an not for constructiv style of the object.

What about using guidepost:style=* for that?
