Hoi Philippe,

- I don't think my fluency in dutch is strong enough to translate the protocol page --PhilippeP 08:40, 25 October 2007 (BST)
Hello,
Do you know how you can see who deleted a track?

Capitalized
I see you're busy mapping Brussels ... somewhere in the wiki (don't ask where) it is said that streetnames have to be capitalized exept for articles ... so it should be "Rue des ..." in place of "rue des ..." .... happy mapping --PhilippeP 21:59, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Philippe, I'm ready to follow rules but I couldn't find it anywhere. Looking at some French cities, streetnames seems to be capitalized. However I think this could be the wrong approach, capitalizing could be done when maps are rendered, leaving the data proper (rue, avenue, boulevard, etc. aren't normally capitalized in French). I'll follow whatever is the consensus here. --Moyogo 16:02, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- btw I asked a couple of questions at Talk:Brussels. --Moyogo 16:17, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Cool, found it Editing Standards and Conventions right under streetnames, and I guess it's still correct information. --Moyogo 17:38, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes that was it :)--PhilippeP 21:42, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- I guess I'll capitalize names. But I don't think the convention was well thought. If we capitalize only the first word, it's just formatting that can be done by renderers. If we capitalize every word that can be done too, but that would destroy relevant information. For example in French you can have "rue De Mérode" or "rue de Suisse" but if both are capitalized they end up being "Rue De Mérode" and "Rue De Suisse". --Moyogo 17:05, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
- Like I said , articles and conjonctions (wich are not present in English-or Dutch- streets because the 'street' goes at the end of the name) doesn't need to be capitalized , just common words and names so "rue de Suisse" would be "Rue de Suisse" and not "Rue De Suisse" ...--PhilippeP 11:42, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Mapping party Mechelen
Salut,
--Polyglot 23:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- A pity you can't come. Hope to see you next time. Maybe at FOSDEM? Polyglot 14:09, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'll add your name on the Activities page --Polyglot 14:19, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
A bientôt, j'espère.

Missing file information
Hello! And thanks for your upload - but some extra info is necessary.
Sorry for bothering you about this, but it is important to know source of the uploaded files.
Are you the author of image File:Ath.png ?
Or is it copied from some other place (which one?)?
Please, add this info to the file page - something like "I took this photo" or "downloaded from -website link-" or "I took this screeshot of program XYZ".
In case that you are the author of the image: Would you agree to open licensing of this image, allowing its use by anyone (similarly to your OSM edits)?
Would you be OK with CC0 (it allows use without attribution or any other requirement)?
Or do you prefer to require attribution and some other things using CC-BY-SA-4.0?
If you are the author: Please add {{CC0-self}} to the file page to publish the image under CC0 license.
You can also use {{CC-BY-SA-4.0-self}} to publish under CC-BY-SA-4.0 license.
Note that in cases where photo is a screenshot of some software interface: usually it is needed to handle also copyright of software itself.
Note that in cases where aerial imagery is present: also licensing of an aerial imagery matter.
Feel free to ask for help if you need it - you can do it for example by asking on Talk:Wiki: new topic.
Please ask there if you are not sure what is the proper next step. Especially when you are uploading files that are not your own work or are derivative work (screenshots, composition of images, using aerial imagery etc).
Once you add missing data - please remove {{Unknown|subcategory=uploader notified January 2022}} from the file page.
