Imagery and/or OSM data is not loading.
Make sure that you don’t have Aerial Only selected and also make sure that the imagery that you selected is working properly.
Predefined imagery/data overlays are not working.
These layers come from the Editor Layer Index so the error comes from there. When Go Map!! is updated it will update its downloaded index.
What is the node with an upside down droplet about?
That node is a generic POI.
It’s shown when a node has a tag(s) but is not associated to a iD preset. When there’s no preset, no icon is shown for it.
If you find a node with a tag(s) but the square icon is shown, create a request for it to be correctly shown with the generic icon or (if it’s associated to a ID preset) a icon.
Is it possible to see objects in 3D?
Currently it is not possible at the time of writing this. (06-11-2024)
How do I clear the cache of OSM data and/or Mapnik tiles?
Tap on the [Map] icon then under Reset tap on Clear Cache then finally tap on the items you want to clear.
Is it possible to import my routes from my health app or files app?
Health
Tap on the [Map] icon, look for “GPX Tracks” and press on “Details”. Then finally in HealthKit routes press “Import”.
Files
Locate your GPX file in the Files app then hold press on the file. Tap on “Share” then finally in the share sheet look for the Go Map!! app in the app section and finally tap on it. This should automatically open Go Map!! with your route on the map.
Is there a left handed mode?
You can move the + button and [Map] button the left by pressing the [Map] button then go all the way down to Interactions. From here press on “Position + Button on” and in the pop-up select “left side”.
Is there any way to contribute/support this app?
The app currently does not accepts donations. You can create issues and pull requests to make a better app! Github
